Venita Bonner

Venita Ann Bonner, age 77, of Jay, Florida passed away February 3, 2019. Ann was born on December 22, 1941.

She worked at Monsanto after graduating from high school. She spent the majority of her years taking care of her family at home. She was a member of Pensacola First Church of the Nazarene for many years. She loved to garden, sew and shop and was also an avid birdwatcher. She loved talking on the phone and spending time with her daughters.

Ann is survived by her three daughters, Shannon Garrett (Johnny), Melonie Callahan (John), and Tanya Menard (Art). Also, her grandchildren Lane Garrett, John Caleb and Zachary Callahan, her sisters Mary Ellen Jones and Doris Diamond, and one brother Mack Jones along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David Bonner, her parents Bob and Ruby Jones, and her brother Buddy Jones of Jay, Florida.

A time of visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in the Rose Lawn Funeral Home Mausoleum.
