Kimberly Barnett

It is with broken hearts and much sadness that the family of Kimberley Ann Barnett announce her passing on November 08, 2018. Kim was a truly devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She left a lasting impact on the people she loved.

Kim is preceded in death by her beloved father, James F Barnett, Sr. She is survived by her loving mother, Nancy Shopmyer; sisters Chris Thomason and Tiffany Jolley; and brother Jimmy Barnett. Also mourning her loss are her two nieces and nephew along with a large circle of extended family and countless other lifelong friends and acquaintances who hold great memories of time shared together.

Kim's life was dedicated to her family, friends, and the countless animals she rescued and loved so dearly, especially her rescued Boxer Sam. She was known by so many for her acts of kindness and compassion to help people and animals, which brought so much joy. She will be dearly missed. Kim's spirit continues to live in all who loved her.

Kim's immediate family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate her life. It is encouraged that Kim's friends across Texas and Florida celebrate her life as well. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
