Gracie Shell

April 12, 1929 — January 7, 2015

With much sadness The Shell family of Niceville, Florida says goodbye to their loving Mother Gracie L. Shell. Mrs. Shell was born in Jay, Florida on April 12, 1929. She was a long time resident of Niceville, moving here in 1955 with her husband Willis Shell. Together they owned and operated The Niceville Food Store. Gracie leaves behind her son Larry Shell of Nashville, Tennessee and a daughter Shelia Dudley of Niceville. She has 3 grandchildren, Jessica Hawkins, Nik Dudley and Sarah Wallin, in addition she has 4 great grandchildren Willa Hawkins, Wallace Dudley, Simone Hawkins and Della Blu Wallin. Mrs. Shell has been a long time member of The Rosemont Baptist Church. Gracie devoted her life to God and family, never one to pursue outside interests, family meant everything to her. Services will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at Rosemont Baptist. Family viewing at 9:30 AM, public viewing at 10:00 AM. Service to be conducted by Pastor Doug Fannon at 11:00 AM, Graveside services and entombment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Gulf Breeze; at 1:30 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze.
