Donald Ledger Muller was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Dorothy B and Robert A Muller on August 16, 1926. His early years were spent in the Newton-Wellesley area. Don attended Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire until WW II called its young men to war. He served in the Air Force, returned home, enrolled in Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, then met and married Lois Marcia Johnson, who became his wife of 70 years. After graduation the young couple moved to Richford, VT to work for Atlas Plywood, then to white River Junction, VT where he owned and operated an electronics distribution company. His family continued to live in New London, New Hampshire.
Lois and Don retired to Gulf Breeze, Florida over 25 years ago. He was an active member of Tiger Point Golf Club Men’s Group, enjoying long, lazy days on the course with friends.
We miss his laughter, smile and helpful ways. He was a happy man with a long and blessed life, which he lived well.
He is survived by his wife, Lois ; four children, Marcia Crimi of Huntsville, Alabama, Marilyn Aberle of Clancy, Montana, Arthur Muller of Sunapee, New Hampshire and Cindy Dougherty of Gulf Breeze, Florida ; six grandchildren and three ( soon to be four ) great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in July 2019 at the family home in New Hampshire.
As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The First Tee of Northwest Florida
