William "Bill" Clark

William S. Clark (Bill), age 81 of Gulf Breeze Florida passed away Aug 4, 2024 at Sacred Heart Hospital, VITAS Hospice, in Pensacola Florida.

He was born in Troy Alabama on Oct 26, 1942 to Foster Clark and Minnie Sanders Clark. Bill graduated from Robert E Lee High School in Montgomery Alabama. He married Patricia Holley of Selma Alabama on May 31, 1964. Bill is a retired Colonel in the Alabama Army National Guard and a retired Air Traffic Controller with the FAA. Bill was a devoted family man and a longtime member of Tiger Point Club and enjoyed golfing in his spare time

Bill is survived by his brother Rendell Clark and sister Nancy Hart, His Son William Carey Clark and wife Sandi Clark of Navarre, Florida along with his Daughter Amanda Clark VanDoorn and husband Ray VanDoorn of Bennett Colorado. Bill is preceded in death by his sisters Geraldine Bird and Sandy Vallely, Wife Patricia Clark and Daughter Holley Clark Dixon.

Bill is survived by his grandchildren, Dylan Foster Clark and wife Jaimee Durbin Clark of Cantonment, Olivia Patricia Williams and wife Shelby Samantha Williams of Pace Florida, Ashley Kristin Messick and husband David Thaxter Messick of Molino Florida, and Larry O’Don Harris of Pensacola Florida. He is also survived by his three beautiful great-grandchildren, Harper Lovey Messick, Blakleigh Ryan Williams and Arya Carolyn Clark.
