William Berry

William "Bill" Berry passed away Thursday morning, February 4, 2010 at the Parthenon Healthcare facility in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was 73 years old. Bill was born in Havana, Kansas, but lived most of his life in Salina, Kansas before recently moving to Florida. He was the son of Ervin and Gladys Berry of Caney, Kansas. Bill retired from Premier Pneumatics in Salina where he worked as a sheet metal machinist. Bill took great pride in lending a helping hand to make life easier for friends and family, his love and kindness will be greatly missed. Bill is survived by two sisters Margaret and Elizabeth, two children William "Will" Berry and Anita Walker, three grandchildren Scott, Alex, and Alina and two great grandchildren Braedon and Kaylee. Funeral services will at 12:00 Noon, Monday, February 8, 2010 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial with military honors will follow at the adjoining Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to the Emerald Coast Hospice 419 Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548 or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org Rose Lawn Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
