Wayne Singleton

Wayne Webster Singleton 1947-2011 Wayne Webster Singleton, 63, of Gulf Breeze, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. Wayne was born in Norfolk, VA on December 11, 1947 and later moved to Gulf Breeze as a teenager. He Graduated from Woodham High School and attended Pensacola Junior College. He then enlisted in the Navy. Wayne retired from International Paper Company after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Coker Purtle; his father, William Webster Singleton; and his father-in-law, Peter Carl Sprinkle. Wayne is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina Singleton; son, Chris Singleton; daughter, Leslie Hicks (Tracey); grandchildren, Hayley, Brianne and Madelyn; sister, Marsha Densmore (Wayne); mother-in-law, Bonnie Sprinkle; sisters-in-law, Viki Weir (Bob) and Cindy Steel (Jim); and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Wayne was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him. A memorial service will take place at 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Rose Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
