Wayne Blanton

Robert “Wayne” Blanton, age 69, of Gulf Breeze, was called home on November 27, 2020.  He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 38 years, his “Angel,” Linda Blanton.  He was father to Melody Blanton; step-father to Jeanette McClain, Crystal Gable and Mikelyn Porter.  Brother-in-law to Steven Cromie (Uncle to Justin and Abby) and Brother-in-law to Doreen Rhodes (Uncle to Cody).  Grandfather and Great-grandfather, Best Friend to “Hank,” at the Gulf Islands National Sea Shore.  He will be remembered, loved and honored by many who he gave himself so selflessly to.

Isaiah 44:13 - Another shapes wood, he extends a measuring line; he outlines it with red chalk.  He works it with planes and outlines it with a compass; and makes it like the form of a man, like the beauty of man, so that it may sit in a house.
