Virginia Cooper

Virginia Norris Cooper of Pensacola passed away peacefully on Saturday January 14, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Enid, OK, she was the daughter of Louis and Edith Norris. Virginia was an avid gardener, cook, seamstress and artist. She has resided in Pensacola for the past 46 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Bud Cooper, her son Jim and wife Barbara of Littleton, NC; daughter Suzanne and husband Mike Hamada, Cantonment FL; daughter Sharon Judd, Oklahoma City, OK; son Roderick and wife Rhonda, Sunnyvale CA. She is also survived by 3 loving step children, Richard Cooper and wife Donna, Pensacola, FL; Barbara Ross and husband Mark, Little Rock, AR; Jim Cooper and wife Nancy of Houston, TX. Virginia is also survived by her loving sister Betty Keown of Enid, OK; 12 grand children and 7 great grand children. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze with the funeral service following.
