Valerie Bee

Valerie Celeste Coshatt Bee, age 63 of Gulf Breeze, FL, died peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was a loving, dedicated mother and diehard Bama Fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Ausgood Coshatt Jr. and Margaret Eloise Vines Coshatt.

Survivors include her son Kyle Andrew Bee and daughter Kasey Celeste Bee of Gulf Breeze, FL; stepdaughters Jayme Bee Brumfiel (AJ) and Christen “Chrissy” Bee; step-grandchildren Jacob Louis Brumfiel, Harlan Lee Taylor, and Madelyn Grace Brumfiel, all of Summerville, SC; sister Pam Coshatt McLeod (Mike) of Chelsea, AL and brother Randy Stephen Coshatt (Brenda) of Aliceville, AL; nephews Stephen James Coshatt, Jason Paul Coshatt (Brittney), Brandon Michael McLeod, Christopher Barrett McLeod; and several great-nieces and nephew.

Valerie graduated from Pickens Academy in Carrollton, AL in 1976 and the University of Alabama.

Special thanks to the caring staff of Emerald Coast Hospice, her primary nurse Amanda and Jan, the social worker, for all their hard work and dedication to our family’s needs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for their dedication and support throughout her battle and her many trips to MD Anderson in Houston, TX.
