Thomas Michael

Maj Thomas Calvin Michael, age 83, died Thursday, July 9, 2009. He had served his country while in the Navy during WWII and the Air Force in the Korean Conflict. Thomas than began his career with State Farm Insurance and was an agent for them for32 years in Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amelia Michael. Thomas is survived by: his wife Joyce Michael, sons, Calvin Michael and Daniel Michael, daughters, Pamela Carol Michael, Cecilia Sanders, Michelle Mattheisen, and Gwendolyn Black, a sister Francis Rooney, Grandchildren; Gabriel Black, Chris Black, Jordon Black, Christian Michael, Nicholas Michael, Robert Michael, Travis Michael, Coti Sanders, Sydney Mattheisen and Amanda Adams, and one great-grandchild, Gavriella Gutierrez. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 1:15 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery.
