Thomas Bedell

Thomas R Bedell, 71, of Gulf Breeze, FL died at Gulf Breeze Hospital, ICU Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Thomas was born on July 3, 1942 in Queens, NY as the only son of Thomas E and Muriel Bedell. He was married to Linda C. Bedell on June 6, 1964. He worked for the State of New York NYSDOT for 17 years as a traffic engineer. He was Pensacola's City Senior Traffic Engineer for 20 years. He owned his own business in the same profession as a PTOE traffic consultant TRB and Associates, Inc. He also was PTOE for HSA Consulting Group, Inc. He was a humble, loving father and grandfather who would give anyone whatever they needed. He loved to spend time with his wife and close friends. He will be dearly missed. He was a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Linda, daughter Debbie and son-in-law Mark Cole, grandchildren Madison, Spencer, and MacKenzie Cole of Ashland, KY; son David and daughter-in-law Rachael Bedell, grandchildren Kayla, Trenton, Hunter, and Brooklyn Bedell of Gulf Breeze, FL; and grandchildren Madilyn and Cameryn McCurdy also of Gulf Breeze, FL. Cousin Patricia Hammer of Gilbert, AZ. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2014 with a Memorial service following at 2:00 pm at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church with Rev.
