Terry Boyles

Terry Mitchell Boyles 'Captain', age 67, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 4, 2016. He was born in Pulaski, Mississippi on July 14, 1948 to Eulah Belle Hardin and Troy Boyles. He married his soul mate Josephine Day Thorpe on September 3, 1971. Together they were blessed with two children, James Michael and Lyndsey Michelle. He is survived by his wife, JoDay, his son James, daughter in law, Heather, their children, Alex, Tristan and Conner. His daughter Lyndsey, son in law, Lenny and granddaughters Haley and Hannah. His brother, Charles and wife Crystal, their son, Clifton, his twin sister, Merry Carter and her children Robin and Sally. He is preceded and welcomed home by his parents Troy and Eulah Belle, brothers, David and Tommy, mother in law Jane Thorpe, brothers in law, Warren Shelton and Darol Thorpe. Terry lived a life like no other. He was not only a riverboat captain but a teacher and mentor to everyone he came in contact with, old and young alike. He was such a blessing and touched so many lives in his short time here on earth. He fought a very tough battle with cancer, all along with his family by his side. He loved his motorcycle and camping. His love for the people in his life extends beyond all measures and he cherished every day he had with each and every one. Services will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2016 Visitation will be from 5-6:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 PM . The family invites all family and friends to come and celebrate Terry's life at their home after the services. The family requests all donations be made to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association FL 20-3, 7651 Old Hickory Drive, Pensacola, FL 32507
