Stacie Nicole Van Lieshout passed away on May 2, 2021. She was born on October 14, 1987 in Heidelberg, Germany to Jeff, of Catlettsburg, KY, and Kathy Van Lieshout of Gulf Breeze, FL. She was beyond blessed to have the two best sisters in the world, Jessi Van Lieshout of Louisa, KY and Mary Thompson of Echo, AL.
Her two kids are going to miss her very much, her kitties, Rhainnah and Khaleesi. Khaleesi was an adoptive kitty who wondered into her apartment one day and never left. Stacie loved all her animals, cats and fish included.
Stacie marched to the beat of her own drum and had a unique soul. She loved to fish as much as she could, travel, loved orcas and to watch “Titanic,” over and over again.
She was fearless. The things that would scare the normal person seemed normal to her. She fished for sharks, fished with alligators and was one crazy driver.
She loved her job at Waffle House and everyone she worked with. She had the absolute best work family and made a lot of lifelong friends there.
All of her family and friends are going to miss her more than words can explain. She had the best friends that turned into family.
Her services will be from 4-6pm on Friday, May 7th. Visitation will be from 4-5pm and from 5-6pm will be time for her close friends and family to gather and tell “Stacie Stories,” at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze FL 32563.
And she picked one hell of a way to bring the family together.
