"Smitty" Smith, Jr

Francis Emmett Smith, Jr., "Smitty", to his friends and family, has gone home to be with the "Lord". Smitty was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed. He was born November 22, 1940 and was a lifelong resident of Pensacola. Smitty is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Ginger, his mother, Helen J. Smith, son, Jeff (Terry) Smith, daughter Jennifer (Robbie) Best and grandson, Dalton Smith. A Celebration of his life will be held in his home on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM where he loved to entertain, welcome his family and friends and watch Alabama football. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Midway Fire District, 1322 College Pkwy., Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 or Lifeguard Ambulance Service, PO 487, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.
