Roger Cole

Roger D. Cole, 69, of Navarre, FL passed away December 20, 2011 after a valiant battle with cancer. Roger is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Lois E. Cole; children, Greg (Lisa) Cole, Lynn (Don) Nawoschik, Mike (Kasey) Cole, Shelly Cole and close family friend, Kathy Hough; grandchildren, Nick Nawoschik, Anna Nawoschik, Olivia Cole, Piper Greenleaf; mother, Isabelle Cole; sister, Sandra (Ron) Markey; niece, Kim (Eric) Fallon; nephew, Brad (Krista) Markley. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Cole. Roger was born in Akron, OH and worked as a wholesale food distributor for 20 years. He moved to Gulf Breeze in 1989 and worked for Kenan Transportation before retiring in June of 2008. He loved his family first and foremost, boating, the water, and woodworking. The family wishes to thank Dr. Shailesh Patel and also Patti and Leslie at Gulf Breeze ICU for the compassionate care given to Roger. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
