Robert Melton Reagan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 8 after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease.
Rob was born on April 1, 1957 in Birmingham, AL, grew up in Gadsden, AL and was a longtime resident of Gulf Breeze, FL. He graduated from the University of Alabama and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity where he made many special friendships. He went on to obtain a Master’s of Business Administration at Jacksonville State University. He then started his successful career as an FDIC Bank Examiner until retirement.
Rob was survived by his father Dr. Jack (Sandi) Reagan, spouse Laura Dunbar Reagan; sisters Laura (Rick) Tatum, and Susan Reagan Wills; nephew, Stephen Reagan Wills; niece, Sarah Katherine Wills
He was preceded in death by his precious mother Carol Rayburn Reagan of Gadsden, his uncle William W. Rayburn and aunt Barbara Rayburn of Gadsden.
Rob enjoyed activities such as spending time fishing with his father and friends, watching Alabama football, and riding bikes with his wife. He enjoyed sailing races with his wife and family as well as frequent truck rides with his beloved dog Boomer. He had a love for life and was full of energy, mischief and enthusiasm.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service and Celebration of his life which will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, FL on Friday, December 20 at 1 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Emerald Coast Hospice or Lewy Body Dementia Association at www.lbda.org.
