Robert Jurcak

Robert Allen Jurcak, 56, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Born on September 7, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, Robert went on to graduate from Osborn High School in Detroit. After graduation he worked at Bohn Aluminum, Western Foundry, Zeeland Foundry and Chris Craft prior to becoming a professional painter. Robert's passion was music and his love of the keyboards. He played in several bands around Michigan and the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola area. His hobbies were gardening and going to the beach. His favorite activity was taking his two nephews bowling every weekend when they were younger. Robert will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John J. Jurcak; brother, Scott M. Jurcak; and grandmothers, Beatrice M. Hutchinson and Mary Jurcak. Robert is survived by his mother, Beverly M. Jurcak of Gulf Breeze, FL; sister, Cheryl M. Smith of Pensacola, FL; nephews Jason B. Elgersma ( Rachel ) of Destin, FL and Stephen J. Smith (Jessica White) of Pensacola, FL as well as great nieces Mackenzie M. Elgersma and Elisha M. Elgersma both of Destin, FL. Memorial services for Robert will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will occur one hour prior to service time. Father Grebe with St. Ann Catholic Parish will officiate the service.
