Rita Anderson

Rita A. Anderson, age 70, of Navarre, was called home May 29, 2020.  She was born March 06, 1950 in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Nolan and Florence Swaney.  Rita graduated from Xenia High School in Ohio.  She was a Manufacturing Technician for a government contractor.  Rita enjoyed fishing and was a proud volunteer of the Navarre Volunteer Fire Department for nearly 10 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Anderson; two grandchildren; and her parents, Nolan and Florence Swaney.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Dawn Bertini of Fort Walton Beach, Brian Lashley of Navarre, Joe Anderson of South Carolina, and James Anderson of Navarre; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of extended family and close friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until the memorial service begins at 11:00am, Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32563.  Rev. Bill Lamont, of Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
