Richard Siciliano

Richard McFail Siciliano, 63, died at his home in Gulf Breeze on Monday, January 11, 2010. Richard was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania on February 4, 1946, to Anthony and Olive Siciliano. After his 1964 graduation from Wesleyville High School, Wesleyville, Pennsylvania, Richard attended the University of Pittsburgh and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1969. Richard was employed as a mechanical engineer with General Electric Company for his entire career. His successful professional life led him and his family to various cities across the country including Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Birmingham, until he retired to Gulf Breeze in 2000. Richard was loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed the Florida sun, the beach, and was an avid boater. He was a loving, generous, and intelligent man, with a robust sense of humor. Richard will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Olive Siciliano. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; his daughters Sheli (Brett) Thoss, Meredith (Mark) Wilkinson, and Toni (Thomas) Daly; his grandchildren Becca Thoss and Carter Thoss; his father Anthony; his sisters Mary Anne and Rose Mary; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard's life will be honored at funeral services on Saturday, January 16, at Saint James Roman Catholic Church, Erie, Pennsylvania. His internment will take place at Saint Gregory Cemetery, North East, Pennsylvania. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze.
