Richard Laprise, Jr.

Richard Laprise, Jr. passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.

Richard was born December 5, 1969 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Richard and Janice (Menard) Laprise

Richard was preceded in death and has reunited with his Memere’ and Pepere’.

Richard is survived by his mother, Janice (Menard) Laprise and sisters, Melissa and Jennifer, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Growing up in Burrillville, Rhode Island “Little Rich” touched the hearts of many. He was very respectful and knew the importance of family. His kind heart with an adventurous soul and goofy spirit was loved by so many. Richard loved his time with his friends.  He loved being outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, camping, riding the trails, his dirt bike, hockey, baseball, and football.

His school days lead him to the love of wrestling in where he attended Burrillville Jr-Sr High School his freshman and sophomore year. He was a well-liked, good student and high achiever. His time with friends and memories were endless. His family and friends remained the force of his drive to where he stayed focused on his future and wanted to serve his country as an Air Force Pilot.

Although his path of life changed his smile and spirit remained the same.  He was a man of courage, bravery, and strength, he was our true hero.  We will be forever grateful for the time he stayed with us.

We celebrate his life knowing that his journey has just begun. We will hold on to our special memories of Richard and he will always be close and forever in our hearts.

Celebration of Life will be arranged in the near future with family and friends.
