Randall "Randy" Steele

Randall (Randy) Lee Steele, 77, of Navarre, Florida passed away on August 19, 2023.  He was born on November 30, 1945 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Eldo and Helen Steele.  He graduated from Elston High School in 1966.  Randy served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.  He worked as an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  He was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 382.  Randy was also an active auxiliary member of the Florida VFW Post 4407.  Randy loved fishing and was an avid pool and dart player. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Tobin “Toby” Babcock and niece, Tara Partin.  Randy is survived by his sisters, Jeanoma (Dennis) Babcock  of LaPorte, Indiana, and Darcy Orzech of Valparaiso, Indiana; Step-daughter Tanya (Chuck) Karasch of Elkhart, Indiana and granddaughter, Ella Karasch, of Elkhart, Indiana; and Randy’s beloved dogs, All and Tucker.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Randy’s honor  may be given to the Pensacola Humane Society at www.pensacolahumane.org, the VFW Post 4407 at 1783 Abercrombie Rd, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32563, or the American Legion Post 382, 1850 Luneta St, Navarre, Florida 32566.
