Philip Brooks

Philip Douglas Brooks, 46, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home in Gulf Breeze. Philip was born in Pensacola, FL and loved growing up in Gulf Breeze, especially Shoreline Park. He graduated from Pensacola School of Liberal Arts, Class of 1985. The son of Durward L. and Jeanne ( Bell ) Brooks, Philip was predeceased by his father. Survivors are brother, Robert Brooks ( Dena ) of Tampa, FL; sisters Bonnie Susan Brooks of Union, WV, Betty Brooks Simpson ( Mitch ) of Chapel Hill, NC ; nieces Ellie Simpson , Lillianne Brooks and baby-to-be, Delaney Brooks; and nephews Andrew and Aaron Simpson and Greyson Davis. Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Philip's name to the Whitmire Cemetery Association, 9000 Chisholm Rd., Pensacola, FL 32514
