Patricia Schluter

Pat Schluter of Gulf Breeze passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Lovingly known to her family and friends as Oma, Pat was a long time resident of Pensacola and Gulf Breeze since 1953. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Schluter ( Opa ) in 2005, her daughter Marie in 2010, and her son Yancy in 2011. She is survived by her daughters Debra Posey and Jane Smith ( Patrick ); sons Ernie Schluter ( Susan ), John Spencer ( Lynn ), J.B. Schluter ( Midgie ) and Bobby Schluter ( Toni ) and daughter-in-law, Lydia Spencer. She has 19 grandchildren; Keisha, Gavin, Bridget, Brandy, Scott, Yancy, Abigail, Sterling, Neil, Jennifer, Ryan, Dagan, Chas, Chandler, Cherie, Shannon, Justin, Robby and Warren; as well as 30 great-grandchildren. Pat ( Oma ) was well-known and loved in this community and will be greatly missed. She had that amazing gift of never meeting a stranger and made everyone feel like they could accomplish anything. We love you Oma, and it will never be the same until we see you in Heaven. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, January 11, 2013 at Coastline Calvary Chapel located at 1122 Oriole Beach Rd. in Gulf Breeze. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. Interment will take place in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
