Patricia Brumfield

Patricia Brannon Brumfield passed away on February 23, 2012 in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Born July 27, 1926 in Sperry, Oklahoma, Patricia was the first of three daughters born to Arlie Faye Brannon and Audene Jack Brannon. A graduate of Conroe (Texas) High School, Patricia earned a bachelors degree from Texas A&M. She is predeceased by her beloved parents; sister, Marilyn Brannon Mitchell; Marilyn's husband Samuel H. Mitchell; nephew Samuel H. "Beau" Mitchell; Betty Berry Brumfield Morgan, sister-in-law, and Aylmer Lee Morgan III, Survivors include James B. Brumfield, her husband of 63 years, her sister Nell Brannon Phillips (Steve), daughters Elizabeth Brumfield Gusack (Michael) and Ellen Brumfield Brammer (David), five beloved grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Patricia was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze. She lived her life in service to God and Family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Marta Jacenyik and the staff of Gulf Breeze Hospital for providing excellent care with kindness. We also express special appreciation and thanks to the staff of Nursefinders, Dorothy Bradley, Pauline Drakeford, Rasheeda Carter and Todd Massie for brightening her final weeks and days with tender loving care. A funeral service will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 1 St. Francis Drive, Gulf Breeze, Florida on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the P.E.O.
