Norma Scott

Norma Jeanne Scott, 80, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, died February 5, 2011 in Yorba Linda, California, with family at her side. Norma was born January 3, 1931 in Ironton, Missouri, to Olin and Ruby DePew. Norma married Carl Y. Scott on April 6, 1950. She raised four children, and worked as a clerical assistant for J. C. Penney, in St. Louis, M, issouri for many years. Carl and Norma retired to Gulf Breeze, Florida in 1992. In 2008, Norma moved to Yorba Linda, California, where she most recently resided. Norma was preceded in death by Carl, her husband of 54 years, mother and father, one brother, and one grandson. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Blevins (David) of West, TX, and Barbara Sullivan (William) of Yorba Linda, CA,; two sons, John Scott (Lori) of St. Peters, MO, and David Scott (Jennifer) of Gulf Breeze, FL; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, on Monday, February 14 from 6-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 15 at 8:45AM at Rose Lawn.
