Nelsa Ramsey

"Nene" 1929-2012 Born in Guantanamo City, Cuba on April 26, 1929, passing on March 9, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband Playford L. of 61 years, her children Playford M (Josephine) and Nelsa L; grandchildren Colleen, Michael, Nelsita, Jem, and Jade; great-grandchildren Carmen and Greddy; and sisters-in-law Elda (Harold) and Lou. Nelsa's caring generosity of love touched bountiful good friends in Gulf Breeze area where they retired as home for 37 years ,as well as the places she and Playford made home earlier in their lives: Guam,Rota Spain,Yokohama Japan, and Cuba where they first met in 1950. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband as they have been inseparable all their lives. A memorial service will be held at Rose Lawn on 5pm to 7pm Thursday March 15th. All friends of Nene and Playford are most welcome. Bright color clothing was her request as she celebrated death as part of her new life.
