Nancy Lee

November 16, 1962 — May 17, 2024

Nancy Sikes Lee born on November 16, 1962 and passed away on May 17, 2024. Nancy was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer in September 2022. She was a fierce fighter and courageously battled the disease until the very end. Raised in Gulf Breeze, Nancy was graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, class of 1980. She thrived in the hospitality field, working for 37 years at the same Pensacola Beach property; originally the Holiday Inn, then Margaritaville Beach Resort, and finally Pensacola Beach Resort. Nancy loved the beach, parades, butterflies, and cats, but her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren and making her infamous spaghetti. She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee, her son, Kenneth Becknell (Annie Becknell), her daughter Jennafer Bell (Dan Bell), her stepdaughters Taria White and Karen Lee, and her six grandchildren, Makenzie, Tison, Claire, Maddox, Charlotte and Jemma. She is also survived by her brother, William “Bill” Sikes (Cheryl Sikes). She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Sikes and Jean Sikes Hunsley.          Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday June 2nd anytime from 6-8:30pm at The Salty Rose Beach Bar & Grill. Located at 165 Fort Pickens Rd, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nancy’s memory be made to American Breast Cancer Society.
