Morris Reado, 67, resident of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away on December 31, 2020, in Gulf Breeze, Florida, due to COVID-19. Morris was born on December 26, 1953, in Raceland, Louisiana. Morris entered the Air Force after high school in August of 1974. He went on to proudly served his country for 20 years when he retired on September 1, 1994. In his leisure time, he was an avid sports fan and loved his Saints, Lakers, and Pelicans. He enjoyed traveling, hanging out with his friends, playing Bid Whist and dominos, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted, loving father and grandfather. Predeceased Relative: His parents, Shedrick and Augustine Reado, four brothers, Benjamin, Esau Shedrick Jr, Claville, and sister Cheryl Jackson. Surviving Relatives: Vanessa Reado (daughter, Gulf Breeze, FL); Augustine Stephens and husband Robert (daughter, Columbus, GA); Brittney Harvin and husband James Harvin (daughter, Fort Walton Beach FL); Morissa Reado (daughter, Gulf Breeze, FL); Markiem Beaty and wife Erin (Son, Millbrook, AL); Darnell Alston (Son, Shreveport, LA); Noella Triggs and husband Richard (Sister, Raceland, LA); Terry Reado and Wife Carrie (brother, Raceland, LA), seven grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial and interment will be at Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery in Gheens, LA. Due to COVID restrictions, this will be restricted to close family.
