Michael Brown

Michael Frank Brown, known as “Mickey,” age 61, died in his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, on May 25, 2021. He was a 1977 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School. He went on to earn an Associates' Degree from Santa Fe Community College. A lifelong “Breezer,” Mr. Brown worked for 40 years in HVAC and property maintenance services in Gulf Breeze.  Mr. Brown enjoyed listening to loud music, any time spent on the water, and The Andy Griffith Show. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Brown, his daughter, Annie Brown, his son, Chris Brown (Katie Brown), his stepdaughter, Alexis Calia (Dino Calia), his stepson, Nicholaus Rollins (Jessica Rollins), and two grandchildren, his namesake, Michael, and Caroline Grace. He is also survived by his mother, Augusta Brown, and his brother, Randall Brown (Neely Brown and Severin Brown).  He was preceded in death by his father, William Brown.

Memorial services will take place at Rose Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery on Thursday, June 3, at 11 am. Public visitation will begin at 10:30.  Flowers can be sent to Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mickey’s memory be made to Covenant Care Hospice.
