Mary Reinschmidt

Mary Alice Steele Berry Reinschmidt 1923 - 2010 Mary "Alice" Reinschmidt, 87, of Gulf Breeze passed away, Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Berry and Jack Reinschmidt; her parents, Albert and Clemmie Steele; and her sister, Betty Jean Mixson. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen Berry Randel and Susan Berry Warren (Bob); grandchildren, Mark Warren (Susan), Dennis Warren (Sandra), Kelly Renee Randel Kelley (Leon); seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. In 1939 she married Roy Berry, USN. They returned to Pensacola in 1955 upon his retirement. They moved to Gulf Breeze in 1956 and she became a member of The First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze and has remained so. Her career as a hairdresser teaching cosmetology and owning her own shop fulfilled her life-long passion. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service. Entombment to follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Gulf Breeze Hospital and Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence and a special thanks to Mom's caregivers Amy Simmons and Cheryl Lively.
