Mary Hogg

Mary Hogg was born Mary Royce Kelso on August 8, 1934 in Morrilton Arkansas to Jay Roy and Mary Lucille Kelso and entered into heaven on July 14, 2012 in Gulf Breeze, Florida surrounded by her husband, Steve, her children and grandchildren. Mary and Steve married November 16, 1985 at Saint Francis Episcopal Church. Mary was an active member of the church where she shared her love of the Lord and His Word by teaching and leading many lay ministries. Mary was both an avid student and teacher of the Bible. Mary was a gifted artist and china painter. She had many talents but her greatest gift was that of loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She made all who loved her feel uniquely special. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Young Steven Hogg and her adored sister Betty Lou Paul. Also by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren Linda, Susie, Chuck, Lisa, Skip, Terry, Anne, Helen, Richard, Deborah, Stephanie, Jonathan, Mandy, Jeremy, Heather, Bale, Catherine, Steve, Taylor, Lea, Brendan, Steven, Charles, Mack, April, John, Amber, Mark, Mary Michael, Katy, Tyler, Jack, Peter, Allie, Madison, Thaxton, Easton and Hayden. Mary richly blessed us all by her joyful personality, infectious humor, and devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a pillar of strength to us all and we exalt her resting in the arms of her Father in heaven. The memorial service will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Gulf Breeze Florida on Saturday July 21, 2012 at 10:30am. To honor Mary we ask you 'tend the sick, bless the weary, comfort the elderly and show compassion to all." She did.
