Mary Ann Hinely, age 84, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away on June 25, 2024 in Pensacola, FL. She was born in Denver, CO on March 30, 1940.
Mary Ann graduated from South High School in Colorado and was a homemaker but her most important job was being an amazing wife to Garry, mom to her four children, then becoming a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her hobbies were spoiling her family, ceramics and crocheting afghan blankets with her sister, Donna. She loved coloring on her tablet and playing word games to keep her mind active and she also loved all her dogs.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Hinely; mother, Mary Viola Conzone Hinds, son, Tony Hinely, brother; Richard Hinds; sisters, Judy Lint and Donna Hinds.
Survivors include a daughter, Gina (Ron) Best of Hampton, GA; son, James Saxton of Gulf Breeze, FL; son Garry Hinely, Jr. of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandsons, Jeremy (Tyakeia) Spangelo of Rome, GA, Shaun (Amanda Wilson) Spangelo of Griffin, GA, and Christopher Saxton of Pensacola, FL; granddaughter, Tiffany (Jeff) Hilger of Lakin, KS; great-grandsons, Jarrod and Hunter Hilger of Lakin, KS, and Bentley Saxton of Pensacola, FL; great-granddaughters, Zaileygh Spangelo of Rome, GA, Blake Spangelo of Griffin, GA and Katlyn Phillips; sisters, Carol Spaur of Mustang, OK and Linda Tortorici of Denver, CO; brother, Fred Hinds of Northglenn, CO and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Shriners Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or your local animal shelter.
