Mary Grimsley

Mary Kate Mayo Grimsley, 81, of Crestview, FL. went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2020. Mary was born on July 13, 1939, in Bonifay, FL, to James Mayo & Mary Alice Grey. Mary worked for over 40 years as a school bus driver. She loved to garden and spoiling her children and grandchildren. Mary also loved to sing southern gospel songs. She was a faithful member of The Harold Assembly of God.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, William Grimsley; parents, James Mayo & Mary Alice Grey; brother, James Joel, Richard, and Dan Mayo; and sisters, Francis Baily and Grace Parker.
Mary is survived by her children, Myrna Carnley, Ivan, Ellis, and Eric Colley; brothers, Raymond & John Mayo; sisters, Virginia Wooten and Lonice Goodyear; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. The Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. The family will have a private burial at a later time.
