Maria Dowling

Maria da Encarnaçé�o Ferreira Mendes (Dowling), 79, of Gulf Breeze, FL, passed away on June 17, 2018, with her daughters by her side, at Covenant Inpatient Care of Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.
She was born April 16, 1939, in Cascais , Portugal, to Manuel Tomás Mendes and Julia de Jesus Ferreira, and had a brother, Alfredo Ferreira Mendes.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Ana Cristina and husband, and Maria Joé�o and husband, four grandchildren, Vanessa, Joé�o Nuno and wife, Amy and Sophia, and her three greatgrandchildren, Matthew, Jackson and Carter.

We are deeply saddened by the death of our Mother. She embraced life to the fullest, adored and cherished her family, loved to sing and dance, bright colors, perfect nails and lipstick.

Her spirit has brighten our lives, we have loved her very much and will continue to do so. We will miss her greatly. She will be in our hearts forever.
