Margaret Reynolds

Margaret "Maggie" Reynolds, 77, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed on to heaven on August 17th, 2017.

Margaret Rose Reynolds was born on September 11th, 1939 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She was born into a Irish-Catholic family and had 7 siblings. She was very close to her siblings, even though most of them still live thousands of miles away in Newfoundland.
The things that she loved most in life were her daughter, Vanessa, and her granddaughter, Jasmine.
Her immediate family was her daughter, Vanessa, granddaughter, Jasmine, sister Helen, sister Joan (deceased), brother Jim (deceased), brother Ron, brother Gerald, brother Bob, and brother Edward.
Margaret served 5 years in the Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. During her service, she received an Army Commendation medal. She retired as a Unit Coordinator at the Crisis Stabilization Unit at Lakeview.
Margaret was a caring person who always gave to those in need when asked. Over the years she opened up her heart and home to friends and family. She was a very strong Irish woman who loved to laugh and make others laugh. Although she will be deeply missed, we know she is up in heaven with other loved ones we have lost, smiling down on us.
A viewing for family and close friends is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22nd from 5pm-7pm at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. A memorial service and military burial will be scheduled soon at a place and time to be announced.
