Margaret Pittman

Margaret J. Pittman Margaret Pittman, 80, of Gulf Breeze went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2011 with her family by her side. Margaret lived in Greenville, Mississippi for many years and was very active in the community with her husband, Ira. She moved to Florida in 1985, where she remained active as a member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze for many years. One of the greatest gifts Margaret gave her family was being a wonderful caregiver to her mother and to her husband, Ira. She gave of herself for many years in order to take care of them. She is remembered by those who knew her for her sense of humor and strong spirit. She is survived by her son, Steven (Laura), and her daughter, Donna (Bob), and her five grandchildren: Steven and Margaret Gray, and Samuel, Ryan, and Karina Pittman. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:00 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Covenant Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice in Mom's memory.
