Louis Wiseman 1929 - 2009 Mr. Louis Wiseman passed away in his sleep at the age of 80 at Covenant Hospice Joyce Goldenberg Inpatient Residence on November 23, 2009. Born November 01, 1929 in Manhattan, New York to Helen and Sydney Weisman, Louis was a cum laude graduate of Long Island University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management-Engineering and he earned a degree in Aircraft Design from the Academy of Aeronautics in New York. He was a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Louis served in the Army Reserves for 2 years. Louis lived in New York prior to moving to Florida. He joined Fairchild Republic Division in 1955 and held positions as a draftsman, a structural designer, and research and development engineer. In 1965 he transferred to St. Augustine as Engineering Manager. He was then promoted to Chief Engineer for the facility. In 1967 he was named Director of Engineering for the Division. In 1976 he transferred to Aero Corporation where he was appointed Vice-President of Engineering. He later transferred to Manufacturing Technology Incorporated until he retired in 1994. Louis will be especially remembered for his is devotion as a father and grandfather and his dedication to his work. Both he did with class and sincerity. Survivors include his uncle Jack Wyloge of Sarasota Springs, NY, his three children Laura Worthington of Gulf Breeze Fl, Elizabeth Allegretto of Navarre, and James Wiseman of Fort Walton Beach, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Louis was preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years Ellen L. Wiseman in 1985 and his sister Helen. A Celebration of Life will be held will be at his daughter's home 2967 Via Conquistadores, Navarre, Fl 32566 at a later date (to be anounced on this website). Interment will be at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
