Lorinne "Lace " Cyr 1956-2010 "Hope is that thing with feathers... that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words... and never stops... at all" Lace is and will forever remain that hope in all the lives that she has touched. Too precious she is to have left us her magnetically beautiful soul was called to the Lord Tuesday, October 12, 2010. The unexpected ending of her life simply has reasons that defy reason. To include the epic investments Lace dedicated to her family and friends in an obituary just wouldn't do her justice. She was pure amazement to all and words could never justify just how beautiful a person she was. Lace lived and breathed a life so selfless and thrived on helping those in need. She was involved in multiple charity organizations and never stopped, never stopped at all until only smiles surrounded her. She called her investment to others her "angel work"... and what she did for others and the world, remains and is immortal. She had a light that shines; a light that will shine on, this light is eternal. She was one of three daughters to parents Raymond Coletti and Victoria Sfetsas. She was born and raised in New York, and settled with her family here in Gulf Breeze just in time for hurricane Ivan. She is survived by her husband, Leo J. Cyr, children, Alex and Max Cyr, mother, Victoria, and sisters, Renee, Cheryl, and Athena. Visitation will be held Thursday October 14, 2010 from 5-7pm at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday October 15, 2010 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, service to start at 11:00.
