Lois Marcia Johnson Muller died November 2, 2021 at West Florida Hospital after a short illness.  She was 90 years old.  Lois was born on November 11, 1930.

Lois was the daughter of Dr. Arthur A. Johnson and Helen Farnham Johnson.  She grew up in Connecticut, attending St. Margaret’s School in Waterbury for 12 years. She attended Wellesley College.  She married Donald Ledger Muller in March of 1949.  She and Don eventually settled in New London, NH where they raised four children.  Lois was a homemaker and donated time to her community, working with the P.T.A, Garden Club, Hospital Association,  and Outing Club.  She also taught skiing at the local mountain, King Ridge.  Lois served on the New London Planning Board and became the first woman to serve as a Selectman of the Town of New London.  She also served on the Board of the New London Hospital and was a Trustee of Colby Sawyer College.

Don and Lois retired and moved to Gulf Breeze FL. They both enjoyed golf at Tiger Point and traveling the world.  Lois was active in Ladies golf and was once the club champion at Tiger Point.  She enjoyed gardening, needlework, bingo, old tv westerns, going out with friends, and family get togethers.  Lois was beloved by her friends and neighbors in Gulf Breeze.

Lois was predeceased by her husband, Donald.  She leaves four children, Marcia Susan Muller (Robert W Crimi), Marilyn Heather Muller-Aberle (Patrick Aberle), Arthur Edward Muller (Katherine Dowd Muller), and Cindy Louise Dougherty (Bruce Dougherty).  She also leaves grandchildren, Dorothy Crimi, Robert S Crimi, Joseph Muller, Kelsey Muller, Benjamin Dougherty, and Daniel Dougherty.  Lois was blessed with four great grandchildren.

The family plans a Celebration of Life at the family home in New Hampshire at a later date.
