Linda Garman

Linda Kaye Garman 1954-2008 Linda Garman, 53, ended her valiant battle with cancer on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at home and with family at her side. She was born December 10, 1954 in Corona, California. Her father heard the news of her birth while flying his plane over Korea. Linda was a "Breezer", graduating from Gulf Breeze High School in 1973. She was active in gymnastics, cheerleading, and chorus. She was an eternally optimistic person strong in her religious faith. Tested by many adversities throughout her life, she never gave in and refused to even consider giving up. She is predeceased by her mother Virginia (Wolley) Dean and her infant daughter Abbygail Weeks. Linda is survived by her father William Garman and his wife Sarah of Manteo, NC; her sister Connie Rova and brother-in-law Bruce Rova of Gulf Breeze; her brother Scott Garman of Gulf Breeze; half-brothers Timothy Garman of Chesapeake, VA and Andrew Garman of Nags Head, NC; her daughter Autumn Weeks, son-in-law Tim Fluharty and beloved grandson Benjamin Fluharty of Pensacola. A memorial service will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10 AM with the Rev Tim Thompson of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church officiating. At Linda's request, her ashes will be spread by her family into the Gulf of Mexico. Her family would like to thank the staffs of Hope Medical Group and Covenant Hospice for their wonderful care and support of Linda.
