LINDA CLAY GOULD BROWN

JANUARY 2, 1938 - FEBRUARY 11, 2017

Linda Clay Gould Brown has gone to rest with God and her heavenly loved ones after a peaceful departure from her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Cleo Gould, her sister Susan Gould Tidyman and her life partner Bob Alshouse.

Linda is survived by her brother John Gould. Children, Page (Pete) Archer, Drew (Terri) Brown, Clay (Tami) Brown and Lee (Kathy) Brown. Grandchildren, Haley Brown, Gabe (Crystal) Jackson, Jesse (Mike) Keef, Bailey Brown, Lucas Brown, Dylan Brown, Cole Brown, Jase Brown, Wade (Melissa) Brown. Nephews, Austin (Jennifer) Gould, Adam (Kristi) Gould, and Nick Tidyman. And, impossible to list, many special friends that have meant the world to her, from Baton Rouge, Gulf Breeze, San Miguel de Allende, Rockport and back to Pensacola!

To say Linda, Mom, "Crazy" Nannie never met a stranger would be short of her vision. More appropriate would be to say that everyone she met was a potential life friend! Her passion for life was anchored in her passion for loving, exciting, energetic interaction with others. With Degrees in Psychology and Sociology, she pursued each her relationships with an enthusiasm and love like no other. Her love of the Arts and particularly acting in the local theaters in her home towns of Pensacola and San Miguel de Allende, were also among her many gifts. Although Linda was an absolute blessing to us all, she would quickly tell you that each of us are blessings to her! She will always be with us!

The family would like to express immeasurable gratitude to Mom's life friend Perrye Riley, and a special thanks to the gracious Doctors, Staff and friends of Woodlands Medical Specialist.

A memorial service will be held at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, on Saturday, February 25, 2017, 3:00, with a reception to follow in the Gilmore Fellowship Hall.
