Lawrence Bevis

Lawrence ( Larry ) Burton Bevis, born April 24, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois, passed away at his home in Satellite Beach, Florida on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Larry attended George Williams College and obtained a master's degree in business, leading to his career as an accountant and owner of Bevis Financial LLC.
Larry Resided in Fox Lake, Illinois and in 1997 retired to Gulf Breeze, Florida, where he became a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a firm believer in higher education, and his pride was managing the Burt and Lucille Bevis Scholarship Foundation that educated all of the grandchildren in the Bevis, Fritz families. Larry enjoyed traveling with Shelly (Wildflower) and anything related to finance.

He is survived by loving wife, Michelle (Shelly) of Satellite Beach; sister Jennice Fritz ( Larry ) of Elmhurst, Illinois; brother Kevin Bevis ( Arlene West ) of St. Paul, Minnesota; as well as six nieces and nephews.

There are no planned services at Larry's request.

"I will miss his heart, his love, being called "wildflower" and most of all his presence. I often said everyone should be loved at least once in their life the way Larry loved me."
