Larry Smith

Larry W. Smith, age 71, of Gulf Breeze, passed away April 4, 2020 after a long battle with heart disease.

He was born September 11, 1948 in Pensacola, FL, to Tom and Doris (Burns) Smith. In 1967 he graduated from Pensacola High School. Then he married Marilyn (Sunny) Bradstreet on April 25, 1967, in Pensacola. They were married for a wonderful 52 years.

Larry worked in wine sales, first with Premier Distributing then later with National Distributing Company and finally with RNDC before retiring at the age of 65. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, East Hill 310, and the Scottish Rite. He loved working out in the yard and will always be remembered for sitting on the front porch watching the birds and other animals in the front yard.

Preceded in death by mother, Doris Smith; father, Thomas Smith; and sister, Terry McCluskey.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Sunny) Smith; daughter, Michele Smith; grand-daughter, Hailey Smith; brother, George (Melinda) Smith; brother-in-law, Billie McCluskey and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to the gathering restrictions from the current COVID-19 pandemic, the interment in Rose Lawn Cemetery will be private. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
