Larry English

Larry Ronald English, age 77, of Gulf Breeze passed away on January 11, 2022.  He was born in Troy, AL to David Franklin and Alma Burks English.

Larry proudly served his country in the US Navy.  He was a pilot and retired as the Base Commander of NAS, Alameda, CA.  after over 20 years of service. He was a loving, caring and giving son, brother and uncle.  Larry loved family gatherings at his home, and he was an excellent cook.

Larry was preceded by his parents and four sisters, Frances Garrett, Hazel Adams, Dean Mufinbier, and Fay Jordan.  Survivors include a brother, Dozier English and a sister, Merle Brooks.

Services will be held at a later date at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
