Kenneth Gramenz

Kenneth Dean Gramenz, age 56, of Gulf Breeze passed away on August 6, 2022.

He was born in Mishawaka, IN where he attended and graduated from Penn High School in 1984. After high school he joined the US Navy in 1985 and served on the USS Forrestal as an Aviation Boatswains Mate H 3 Third Class.  When he returned home from the Navy, he got a job as an HVAC Technician.  He made that his career and worked in the industry for 35 years.

In 2009 he moved to Florida with his wife Tina and daughter Alyssa. He joined the Pensacola Beach Elk’s Lodge and has been a loyal member for 13 years. Ken was always willing to step up and give a helping hand to anyone without asking for anything in return.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, James M. Gramenz; mother, Mary L. Walters; stepfather, George Walters; and brother, James L. Gramenz.

Survivors include his wife, Tina M. Gramenz of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Alyssa R. Gramenz of Gulf Breeze; stepchildren, Brandon Banter of Navarre and April Banter of South Bend, IN; 3 grandchildren, Albert, Micky, and Violet (Banter) Freeman of South Bend, IN; sister, Judith Nicholson of Hartford, MI and brother, Terry (Tammy) Gramenz of Hartford, MI.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with a visitation from 12-1:00 pm.  Interment in the columbarium with military honors will be at 2:30 pm Thursday at Barrancas National Cemetery.
