Kathleen Lavalley

Kathleen Pearl LaValley, 94, passed away in the comforts of her home in Hubert, NC on Valentines Day, 2014. Born in Detroit Michigan, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Raymond Lewis Newell and Ida Mae Sommerville. She was the last of 4 sisters and 1 brother. She was married to the late Floyd Efton LaValley for 62 years before he passed on Christmas Day, 2002. Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Kay Daniels, grandson Bo Daniels, granddaughter, Kandi Rozier, 5 great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Daniels, Mesah Pearl Daniels, Tori Melton, Tyler Rozier, Megan Rozier and 1 great great-grandchild, Matilda Melton. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 1 to 2:00 PM at McLaughlin Mortuary, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, FL. There, she will be laid to rest in the Hope Section.
