Karen Clay

Karen Clay age 75 of Tiger Point, Gulf Breeze, FL died peacefully in her sleep on April 29, 2017 after a short illness. Born April 12, 1942 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of John and Nora (Nee Mawn) Palutis.
Karen married Joe Clay in 1962. Their shared love of the ocean drew them to the Jersey shore where they lived until retiring to Gulf Breeze.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Joe in 2013, her parents, and a sister Joan Longstreth. Karen is survived by her sister Gay McCreery, Scarsdale, NY and her brother John Palutis, New York, NY.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 AM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 with Funeral Services to be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 8, 2017. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen's name to VFW Post 4407, 1783 Abercrombie Road, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.
