Julia Dawson

Isabell G. Dawson, age 93, of Milton, was called home March 13, 2021.  She was born July 15, 1927 in Venice, FL to the late Thomas and Etheral Gilley.  Isabell graduated from Pensacola Junior College as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She served at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola until her retirement.  Isabell’s family celebrate her in the passage: Proverbs 31:31 Honor her for all that her hands have done and let her words bring her praise at the city gate.”

She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Dawson; and granddaughter, Jennifer Lovelace.  Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Amy) Dawson, Julie Schwartz and Matthew (Anne) Dawson; grandchildren, Jay (Trisha) Dawson, Bobby Dawson, Jon Dawson, Eric Schwartz, Sarah Dawson, Gavin Lovelace and Grayson Lovelace; great-grandchildren, Brayden Dawson and Brodie Dawson; brother, Jim Gilley; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until the funeral service begins at 11:00am, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 4187 US 90, Pace, FL 32571.  Bro. Clain Roberts will officiate.  Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL.  Pallbearers will be Jay Dawson, Jon Dawson, Eric Schwartz and Bobby Dawson.
