Joyce Darlene Crone

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Crone, born on July 22, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia. She peacefully passed on October 1, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Joyce was the beloved daughter of Javis and Betty Screws. She was a sister to Brenda Ann Gray, Ronald McCallum, Juanita D. Jones, Bonnie Jean Morris, Joseph D. Screws, and Angela D. Antinoro. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her three children: Anthony Brandon Crone, Angel Brooke Stokes and Andrew Bryson Crone. She also leaves behind ten adoring grandchildren who were her world.

Joyce attended Lithia Springs High School and graduated in 1978. She dedicated many years of her life to working at Affordable Body Shop, retiring in 2020. When Joyce was younger, she enjoyed dancing, roller skating, shopping and driving anything that had wheels and a motor. In her later years she had a love for cooking, boating, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.Joyce had a strong love for Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending West Florida Baptist Church.

Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Joyce will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held October 19th at 2:00 pm at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
